Where we like to shop
Opinions Do Count
We might have differing opinions about the proper way to care for the earth we exist on (and the people we exist with), but mine is the only one that counts here. If you believe that we should be drilling for oil and gas in ANWAR or any of our National Wilderness areas, or on any of the Reservations we have forced the only true Americans to subsist on, please leave the gate to your back yard unlatched so I don’t have to crash through it while moving my wrecking equipment in. I believe there might be something of value under your garage, or possibly under your house.
A Thought
I have issues, and I have experiences that give me joy beyond description. I will try to share a little of both here.
The issues have to do with stewardship of this awesome planet we share with a multitude of life forms, each with as much a rightful claim to ownership as any of the others. The joyful experiences will be pretty much limited to my ability to tromp around in the great outdoors. I might throw in a little motorcycling now and then, but most of that goes on a different blog.
This will primarily be a joyful-experience journal with links to transport the reader to other places of shared joy, experience, and issues.
Buckle up for safety.
