Choices

This would have been a good day to wander down a trail somewhere, but I went to REI in Tacoma instead. Three hundred dollars later, I had a few more books about hiking in Washington State, and a backpack. Selling books in a gear shop is totally unfair, but I am not complaining because they don't sell hiking or camping gear in my favorite book stores. That probably saves me a month's pay a year.

We are sliding into Super Bowl Weekend, and I am going to pass up the opportunity to lounge around munching and sipping in favor of a long walk in the woods somewhere.

I will add more to this later, but I am going to be late for a poker game, and that is inexcusable.
